The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) have one of the most extensive genealogical libraries in the world. Two online resources from DAR are pointers to their hard-copy materials, and valuable family history tools in their own right.

You will find actual letters written by members of the military. The largest portion of the letters posted so far, are from WWI, and WWII, but there are letters from other periods also. There will be 5 to 10 items added weekly, as time allows.
